I visited US Virgin Islands last week and spent a few hours on St. John, which is only 3 km away from Tortola.

British Virgin Islands is a British oversea territory located in the Caribbean to the east of Puerto Rico. The prefix 'British' is often used to distinguish it from the neighbouring U.S. Virgin Islands.
