Bengal tiger and her cub


Bengal tiger is the most numerous tiger subspecies, its populations have been estimated at 1,706-1,909 in India, 440 in Bangladesh, 163-253 in Nepal and 67-81 in Bhutan. It's the national animal of both India and Bangladesh.

Tygrys bengalski jest najliczniejszym podgatunkiem spośród wszystkich tygrysów, jego populacja jest oszacowana na 1706-1909 osobników w Indiach, 440 w Bangladeszu, 163-253 w Nepalu i 67-81 w Bhutanie. Jest to narodowe zwierze w Indiach i Bangladeszu.

Kantajew Temple

This beautiful postcard was sent by Sumanto from Bangladesh, it took roughly 3 weeks to arrive to Barbados. Sent along with beautiful tiger stamps.


Late-medieval Hindu temple in a Dinajpur district. The construction was started by Maharaja Pran Nath in 1704 and finished by his son Raja Ramnath in 1722. The temple was built in the navaratan (nine-spired) style, the spires were destroyed by the earthquake in 1897.


Dinajpur is a district in the North of Bangladesh, part of the Rangpur Division. The area is 3,444.30 km2.
