The monkeys, Gibraltar Barbary macaques, are often consider by tourist the top tourist attraction in Gibraltar. Monkeys are used to interact with humans and it is possible to get really close to them, however direct contact with these wild animals is strongly discouraged. Feeding the animals is prohibited .
Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory located in the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula.
