Muffins a la Schwarzwald (11-12 muffins)
  • 220 g flour
  • 3 tbsp cacao
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 120 g buttermilk
  • 100 g vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • canned or fresh stoned cherries
Mix all the dry ingredients: flour, soda, sugar, cacao in a bowl. Mix well all the liquid ingredients: buttermilk, oil, egg, rum in another bowl. Pour liquid into the dry mix and stir quickly with wooden spoon till all ingredients incorporate bout not till complete smoothness, add cherries, stir. Spoon into the buttered or lined with paper tartalettes backing mold. Bake at 210C (410F) about 15-20 minutes.
